Short Vita
Johanna Fankel is a student assistant at the Research Training Group ‘Fixing Futures’. She has been studying Political Theory (M.A.) at Goethe University since October 2023 and previously completed a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Educational Science at Gutenberg University in Mainz with a thesis on ecological issues in Marxist theory. Johanna’s research interests include capitalism and ecology, critical theories of education, social struggles and movements, and materialist social theory.
