Short Vita
Martina studied European Ethnology and Cultural History and Theory at Humboldt-University in Berlin where she also completed her PhD at the intersection of Anthropology and Science and Technology Studies. She is Professor of Digital Anthropology and Science and Technology Studies at the Institute for Cultural Anthropology and European Ethnology at the Goethe-University. In her research agenda in Digital Anthropology, she is interested in two strands: attending to processes of digitization especially in fields of governance and the merging of data infrastructures; and experimenting with digital methods as part of ethnographic research.
